Re: Beam Spring 104+SSK Reproduction Project! First Batch In Stock, Shipping early next year after New Model F Project

lukebpalmer the original 3278 style cases seem to have received relatively little interest in the Google forms and other feedback compared to the 3101/5251/etc. style that we are going with.

Man... Yeah the 3278 case is the one I'm talking about. But I guess I'm outnumbered on this one.

I was ...

Re: Beam Spring 104+SSK Reproduction Project! First Batch In Stock, Shipping early next year after New Model F Project

Some folks even custom ordered the case with extra area cut out.

How much would this cost extra?

I'm still very interested and following this beamspring project, but I agree the puffy rounded cases are currently the biggest draw back for me. I love the sharp, angular design of the OG ...

First off, I love what youve done for the keyboard community Ellipse! I finally got those keycaps you made for the model F and theyre amazing! I'll attach a photo below of the final product!

I'm super excited to see what comes out of this beam spring project! I'm still in college so I don't have a ...

Re: Finished 1985 IBM Model F AT Mod!

Yeaaa I just can't get over the full sized backspace and the oversized enter key...a worthy sacrifice! That's a really intricate keyboard setup you've got! You use the keypad also as a mouse?!

Also did I hear you say you have your own beamspring? :o I hope modelfkeyboards.com's beamsprings turn ...

Re: Finished 1985 IBM Model F AT Mod!

Thank you everyone for the kind words! The AT layout definitely needed a bit of love, but now that its finished I've got BOTH the big ass enter and full sized backspace key. The only tradeoff is now my `~ key is moved off to the side underneath the Esc key (activated by the Fn key same as with the ...

Re: Finished 1985 IBM Model F AT Mod!

Hah yeah well since I use MacOS I put the Alt and Ctrl keys in that configuration. But if I were to be a windows user I would swap the two keycaps and remap the keyboard so that I can still copy paste with my left hand. Now that I'm thinking about it the Alt key is actually mapped as the Command key ...

Finished 1985 IBM Model F AT Mod!

I finally finished my Model F AT project!

It took an entire year for modelfkeyboards.com to get me the new keycaps...so frustrating but I finally got them and they look beautiful and this is the best layout ever for a keyboard!

For the enlarged backspace key, I had to take my keyboard apart and ...

Re: Various resto-mods

How's that Kaypro 4 keyboard you got? I'm considering getting my hands on one but I'm not sure if it'll be a pain to actually use.

My current boys are IBM and they're a dream for typing...but in a review I heard the fixed angle of this keyboard is quite uncomfortable and the keys can be sticky ...

Re: 64 Bit Soarer's Tools for Mac

The logs you pasted say it worked fine.

On Soarer, the key remap syntax works like this: Keycode you want to remap *from* (space) Keycode you want to remap *to*. So, depending on what you're actually trying to do, maybe try reversing your single remap? The Mac platform itself doesn't support Num ...

My keyboard is not responding to your code and I'm not really sure why.
My keyboard is running just normally and the Esc key is functioning normally.
