After using the Blue Alps that I got earlier last year, I must confess my views have changed. I now love this switch.

I wouldn't call taking abandoned keyboards looting. If there's a way to make certain they're abandoned, then it's for the best; if not, being in that state and location, I'd call it a good guess.

Spacebar is also destroyed which I don’t think can be taken from a selectric as I believe it is a different size?

Spacebar is swappable on my 3278 from a Selectric II, same width and mounts though the material is a lot thinner.

Does the selectric have a spot for the stabilizer to go though?
